At The Inner Athlete, we believe that children thrive when they are given the freedom to explore, play, and discover in a nurturing and safe environment. That's why we've created the TIA PreK Prep Program - a 3-hour drop-off program designed for children ages 2.5 to 4. Our goal is to help young children develop key social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and teamwork skills that will serve them well as they grow and learn.
Our unique space is specifically designed to promote active and meaningful play, exploration, and discovery. Within each class, our experienced teacher-coaches lead the students through a range of engaging and fun activities that help them master the basic fundamentals of Pre-K. At TIA, we believe in learning through play and movement. That's why our program offers a sports-inspired experience that balances structure, sports time, craft time, snack time, outdoor play, and more.

Building your child's lifelong love of fitness
We provide sports and physical education classes for children aged 18 months and above in our Edgewater location, as well as in their schools and daycares.
Our age-appropriate classes offer a range of sports and activities, with younger children developing essential movement and motor skills in a secure and stimulating environment, while older children practice fundamental skills in sports such as soccer, baseball, golf, basketball, volleyball, tennis, lacrosse, and more.
Our program emphasizes building your child's self-confidence in their physical abilities and creating opportunities to make new friends within a nurturing and supportive community.
